Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barnwell). They never let the Whale Branch Warriors get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Tuesday. The Warhorses haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Cameron Austin, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and two stolen bases while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Case Davis, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Barnwell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.

Barnwell pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Whale Branch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Barnwell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
