Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barnwell). They never let the Whale Branch Warriors get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Tuesday. The Warhorses haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Cameron Austin, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and two stolen bases while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Case Davis, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Barnwell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
