Volleyball Recap: Marymount's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marymount had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Chaminade Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Monday.

While Marymount won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-21.

Makenna Barnes paced Marymount's offense, picking up ten kills. Barnes got some help from Olivia Penske and her 24 assists. Elle Vandeweghe controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Marymount's win bumped their record up to 36-5. As for Chaminade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-16.

As of now, neither Marymount nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
