Heritage extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jhon Carela-Pantaleon. The Huskies came out on top against the Knightdale Knights by a score of 32-23 on Friday with plenty of help from Carela-Pantaleon, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Heritage's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't).

When it comes to explaining why Knightdale lost, don't look at Jamel Perry. Despite the final result, he rushed for 99 yards and one score, and also threw for 218 yards and a pair of TDs. Le'Eric Cooper was Perry's top target, picking up 106 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Knightdale, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
