The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons will face off against the Northern Nash Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. C.B. Aycock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

While C.B. Aycock's win against Southern Nash wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Falcons beat the Firebirds by a goal, winning 2-1. Given C.B. Aycock's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Southern Nash are ranked 278th) , the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Drew Huff and Adrian Salazar scored both of C.B. Aycock's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 48 goals.

Meanwhile, Northern Nash entered their tilt with Fike on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Golden Demons by a score of 3-1.

Northern Nash's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1. As for C.B. Aycock, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
