Baseball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the Kennebunk Rams. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Windham's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kennebunk, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Windham and Kennebunk could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. The Eagles will face off against Thornton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (100 vs. 25). Meanwhile, Kennebunk (ranked 77th) will meet Gorham (ranked 12th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
