Carver strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 75-0 win over the Jordan Red Jackets. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Red Jackets are ranked 461st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carver's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kelston Tarver, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Tarver showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 58 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakobe Caslin, who rushed for 61 yards and two scores on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 172 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Carver's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Carver didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-0 victory against Kendrick on the 30th. As for Jordan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 48-14 loss against Shaw on the 31st.
