Volleyball Game Preview: Houghton Gremlins vs. Kingsford Flivvers + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Houghton Gremlins and the Kingsford Flivvers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Houghton played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against West Iron County by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gremlins.

Meanwhile, Kingsford got the win against Marquette on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Flivvers haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Kingsford's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Houghton, their win bumped their record up to 14-16.

Houghton came up short against Kingsford when the teams last played back in October, falling 3-1. Can the Gremlins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
