Strom Thurmond won the last time they faced Pelion and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rebels blew past the Panthers 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Strom Thurmond's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pelion to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-9.

Leigh Anne Strock paced Strom Thurmond's offense, picking up 12 kills. Strock got some help from Blaire Ball and her 19 assists. Kinley French and Mollie Bartley kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Strom Thurmond now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Pelion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14-1 record this season.
