Basketball Recap: Chireno Comes Up Short

Chireno and Gary squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Chireno had to settle for second. The matchup between them and the Gary Bobcats didn't end well, with the Chireno Owls falling 53-38. The Owls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 52-43.

Chireno's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Gary, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-8.

Chireno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gary, they will head out to challenge Alto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Alto has won four straight at home, while Gary won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
