Recap: Lynn Classical Rams vs. Lynn English Bulldogs
The Lynn Classical Rams pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 78-58 loss at the hands of Lynn English. Lynn Classical lost against Lynn English in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 95-45 score last time.
Lynn English got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carmelo Buese out in front who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Kemembin, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Lynn Classical's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Lynn English, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will take on Somerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lynn English, they will head out on the road to face off against Chelsea at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
