Volleyball Recap: Presley Watters and Tinley Worley Secure Win for Bland County + How To Watch

Bland County barely beat Narrows the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears blew past the Green Waves 3-0 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on three straight.

While Bland County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-21, 26-24.

Bland County was led to victory by Tinley Worley and Presley Watters. Worley had 17 digs and four aces, while Watters had nine digs and three aces. Worley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last 25 games she's played dating back to last season.

They weren't the only good server: Bland County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-3. As for Narrows, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Bland County will face off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Narrows, they are taking a road trip to take on Parry McCluer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
