It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Tumwater ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Black Hills Wolves 49-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

Black Hills lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Natalie Buchanan, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Ellie Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards.
