Alexander Christian Academy strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by  a  15-3 margin over the Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won seven matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Karter Minton made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Will Hollar and  Landyn Cupp did most of the damage at the plate:  Hollar  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Cupp  went 1-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Hollar is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last seven games he's  played.  Isaac Davidson was another key player,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Alexander Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-0 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.3 runs this season. As for Asheboro Hybrid Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-10.
