Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss

Chaminade's tournament run continued when they took on North Point on Friday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Grizzlies.

Will Dardis paced Chaminade's offense, picking up seven kills. Dardis got some help from Alex Temporiti and his 13 assists. Finally, Dardis was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

North Point was led to victory by Ryland Rauscher and Preston Gresco. Rauscher had 11 digs and two aces, while Gresco had seven digs and one assist. Rauscher is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Chaminade has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for North Point, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

Looking ahead, Chaminade will square off against Gateway Science Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Point, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Nixa on the 3rd.
