Football Recap: Elk Grove Thundering Herd vs. Monterey Trail Mustangs
Elk Grove lost against Monterey Trail back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elk Grove Thundering Herd and the Monterey Trail Mustangs were almost perfectly matched up, but the Elk Grove Thundering Herd suffered a 21-20 defeat. Monterey Trail had a senior duo take command as D'ADRIEN SANDERS rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries and GABE CORONADO rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
