Baseball Game Preview: Cypress Centurions vs. Marcus Marauders

The Cypress Centurions will take on the Marcus Marauders at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cypress will be strutting in after a win while Marcus will be coming in after a loss.

Cypress is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Southlake Carroll.

Meanwhile, Marcus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Notre Dame (SO), falling 8-2.

Cypress came out on top in a nail-biter against Marcus when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. Do the Centurions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marauders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
