Basketball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Grace Davis Spartans, falling 74-43. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1129th, while the Spartans are ranked 531st).

Pacheco's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Grace Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Pacheco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Davis, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Johansen at 7:30 p.m. Johansen knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Grace Davis likes a good challenge.
