New Plymouth came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Parma, but Nathan Compas wouldn't allow it. The Panthers managed a 53-49 win over the Pilgrims on Wednesday for which the team can thank Compas, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 23 points in addition to five boards and four steals. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Colton Davison, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Parma and bumps their season record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for New Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Parma will face off against Melba at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. New Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
