Volleyball Recap: Henderson Lions vs. Celina Bobcats
Henderson and Celina squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Henderson had to settle for second. They came up short against the Celina Bobcats, falling 3-0. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Celina got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Paitlynn Martin out in front who had 18 digs. Martin has been hot , having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Britton Huff, who had four digs and 14 assists.
Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 28-11. As for Celina, they pushed their record up to 24-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Henderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Celina, they will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Caddo Mills. Caddo Mills will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Celina surely won't give up without a fight.
