Volleyball Recap: Northeastern's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northeastern walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hagerstown Tigers on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won four matches in a row.

Alyia Diamond paced Northeastern's offense, picking up 16 kills. Diamond got some help from Kamdyn Sum and her 45 assists. Sum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Hagerstown, they moved to 21-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Northeastern and Triton Central will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hagerstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
