Football Game Preview: Grand Blanc Bobcats vs. Oxford Wildcats + How To Watch

The Grand Blanc Bobcats will welcome the Oxford Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grand Blanc knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Oxford likes a good challenge.

Grand Blanc will bounce into Friday's game after beating Romeo, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Bobcats snuck past the Bulldogs with a 40-36 victory on Friday. The score was all tied up 28-28 at the break, but the Bobcats were the better team in the second half.

Grand Blanc's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Morrow, who threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. Morrow is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Grand Blanc also got a significant boost from Ashton Brown, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.

Grand Blanc didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aelijah Wells and Micah Bell.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oxford challenged Dakota on Friday. The Wildcats secured a 24-20 W over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Grand Blanc's record now sits at 9-0. As for Oxford, their record is now 7-2.

Everything went Grand Blanc's way against Oxford in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Grand Blanc made off with a 29-7 victory. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
