Volleyball Recap: Hall Takes a Loss

Hall lost against Morris back in September of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Devils fell just short of Morris by a score of 2-1.

Kaitlyn Coutts paced Hall's offense, picking up 11 kills. Coutts got some help from Emma McCook and her 15 assists. Charlie Pellegrini controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Alyssa Jepson was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15-1. As for Morris, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Hall has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Streator on the 27th. As for Morris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against East Moline United on the 27th.
