Baseball Recap: Bel Air's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Bel Air won against Jefferson last Saturday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bel Air Highlanders beat the Jefferson Silver Foxes by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. While the Highlanders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Bel Air saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Chavez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another was Alex Rodriguez, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

The win made it two in a row for Bel Air and bumps their season record up to 5-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Bel Air and Jefferson will both be playing Benson the next time they take the field. Bel Air will head out to face Benson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Jefferson will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
