Basketball Game Preview: Uplift Titans vs. Intrinsic Mustangs

The Uplift Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Intrinsic Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

On Wednesday, Uplift earned a 20-11 victory over Clemente. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Wildcats are ranked 572nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Intrinsic took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 50-4 win over Roosevelt. The match marked the Mustangs' most dominant victory of the season.

Uplift's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.4 points per game. As for Intrinsic, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Uplift came out on top in a nail-biter against Intrinsic in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, sneaking past 48-45. Will Uplift repeat their success, or does Intrinsic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
