Volleyball Recap: Antelope Extends Winning Streak to Three

Antelope waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the McClatchy Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 1st.

Antelope got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 28-30, 27-25, 25-19.

Antelope found their leader in freshman Anthony Ehly, who had three digs and two aces. Ehly also set a new season-high mark in assists with 29.

Antelope was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Antelope's victory bumped their record up to 19-13. As for McClatchy, they dropped their record down to 6-21 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Antelope nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
