Ferndale won the last time they faced Lakewood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Golden Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Cougars a 4-0 shutout. Ferndale might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ferndale and bumps their season record up to 9-4-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-3.
