Harlem was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Guilford on Wednesday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 16-0 victory. Considering the Huskies have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Megan Christensen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joslyn Agustin, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Harlem hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Guilford struck out eight times.
Harlem is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
