Baseball Game Preview: Richland Rebels vs. Leopold Wildcats

The Richland Rebels will square off against the Leopold Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Richland is looking for their season's first win.

Richland fell victim to Dexter and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 19-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, while Leopold put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Woodland. The Wildcats walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Cardinals. The game was the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Cardinals on their field since April 6, 2017.

The win made it two in a row for Leopold and bumps their season record up to 3-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Richland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
