Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Comes Up Short

Wyandotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 61-15 loss at the hands of the Blue Valley North Mustangs. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wyandotte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Blue Valley North, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Wyandotte will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harmon on February 4th. As for Blue Valley North, they will venture away from home to square off against Gardner-Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blue Valley North has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
