Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nicollet Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Clippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-58 back in December of 2024.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Nicollet, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

Cleveland has already played their next contest, a 75-63 defeat against Loyola on the 17th. As for Nicollet, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 81-31 victory against Madelia on the 17th.
