Cardinal Gibbons is a perfect 10-0 against Sanderson since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sanderson Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Cardinal Gibbons ended up a good deal behind Leesville Road and lost 64-45. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Pride are ranked 96th).

Meanwhile, Sanderson played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-18 loss at the hands of Broughton. The Spartans were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

This is the second loss in a row for Cardinal Gibbons and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Sanderson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything came up roses for Cardinal Gibbons against Sanderson in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 66-25 win. Will Cardinal Gibbons repeat their success, or does Sanderson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
