Softball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Find Success

Amanda-Clearcreek posted their closest win since April 12th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madison Plains Golden Eagles, sneaking past 7-5. The victory was some much needed relief for the Aces as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Payton Singleton was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeleigh Blosser, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Amanda-Clearcreek's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Madison Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Amanda-Clearcreek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison Plains, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Worthington Christian at 5:15 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
