Softball Recap: Phoebus Takes a Loss

Phoebus lost against Bethel back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phantoms lost 19-8 to the Bruins. The Phantoms have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kadence Bone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Ariana Robinson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Phoebus' record now sits at 3-6. As for Bethel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

While Phoebus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
