Baseball Recap: North Schuylkill Spartans vs. Blue Mountain Eagles
North Schuylkill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blue Mountain Eagles, falling 11-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since May 2, 2024.
Chase Slotcavage put in work while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Slotcavage was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
