Football Recap: Notasulga Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Notasulga was feeling good fresh off their 42-6 takedown of Barbour County two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Maplesville Red Devils on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.

Leading Maplesville to victory were Nehemiah McCary and Pearce Yeargan. McCary rushed for 41 yards and a pair of TDs, while Yeargan threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns.

Notasulga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Maplesville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
