Softball Preview: Proctor Phantoms vs. Poultney Blue Devils
Proctor has gone 9-1 against Poultney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Phantoms will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Poultney will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Proctor extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday. The Phantoms put the hurt on White River Valley with a sharp 13-1 victory.
Olivia Graham made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.
