Soccer Recap: Hopatcong Comes Up Short at Home Against High Point

Hopatcong unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the High Point Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 7-1. If Hopatcong were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to High Point when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Looking ahead, Hopatcong will challenge Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for High Point, they will square off against West Milford at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
