Softball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

Argos suffered their closest loss since April 18th on Saturday. They fell just short of the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays by a score of 3-1. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ivy Stackhouse put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples.

Argos' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Argos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will square off against Oregon-Davis at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
