Basketball Game Preview: Mulhall-Orlando Panthers vs. Carney Bulldogs

The Mulhall-Orlando Panthers will challenge the Carney Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mulhall-Orlando will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Coyle, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Mulhall-Orlando took down Coyle 41-26 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Carney had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Agra by a score of 26-18 on Tuesday.

Carney's victory bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Mulhall-Orlando, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-12.

Everything went Mulhall-Orlando's way against Carney when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Mulhall-Orlando made off with a 48-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mulhall-Orlando since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
