Softball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg lost against Jacobs back in March of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Johnsburg fell 11-6 to Jacobs.

Johnsburg saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joree Tibbs, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Kayla Riener, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Johnsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. Jacobs has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Johnsburg will be playing in front of their home fans against Crystal Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Jacobs, they will head out to square off against Geneva at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
