There's no place like home for Tyler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the River Pilots 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pilots: they've now won six in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-98) Tyler actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 15-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Katie Grimm paced Tyler's offense, picking up 21 kills. Grimm got some help from Raylynn Heintzman and her 34 assists. Finally, Kayli West kept Tyler's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for River, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Coming up, Tyler will host Williamstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
