Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arleta). They snuck past the East Valley Falcons with a 26-20 victory on Saturday.

Arleta's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for East Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Arleta will square off against Grant at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for East Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Panorama at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pythons' defense has only allowed 1.5 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
