Clark won the last time they faced Churchill and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars snuck past the Chargers with a 48-44 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Churchill's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aliyah Young, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Emilia Ryann, who put up eight points.

Clark's victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Churchill, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-23.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clark will square off against rival Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Churchill is set to face off against their familiar foe Brandeis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
