Volleyball Recap: Whitley County's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Whitley County was the 3-0 winner over Corbin when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colonels fell 2-0 to the Redhounds on Saturday. The loss was the Colonels' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Whitley County fell to 8-1. As for Corbin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Corbin will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bell County at 5:30 p.m. Whitley County will be paying especially close attention to the Redhounds' matchup: after the Redhounds face off against the Bobcats, they'll take on Whitley County again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
