Basketball Recap: Alba-Golden Takes a Loss

Alba-Golden played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 76-12 loss at the hands of the Martins Mill Mustangs. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Alba-Golden's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Martins Mill, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Alba-Golden Panthers take on the Fruitvale Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martins Mill, they will host Winnsboro at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Winnsboro will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Martins Mill surely won't give up without a fight.
