Soccer Game Preview: Immokalee vs. Dunbar

The Immokalee Indians will face off against the Dunbar Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Immokalee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Immokalee turned things around against Clewiston on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Tigers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Indians' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Dunbar took on East Lee County on Thursday. Dunbar narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past East Lee County 3-2. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one goal.

Immokalee's draw makes their record 3-8-1 this season. As for Dunbar, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
