Grandview Heights is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bobcats were dealt a 41-8 defeat at the hands of the Indians. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mifflin's offense. They took a blow against Whetstone on Friday, falling 43-0. The loss continues a trend for the Punchers in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost eight in a row.

Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Grandview Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Grandview Heights took their victory against Mifflin when the teams last played back in October of 2023 by a conclusive 24-0 score.
