Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Titans vs. South Gallia Rebels

The Notre Dame Titans will take on the South Gallia Rebels at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Notre Dame's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Notre Dame beat Tolsia 57-51.

Jaysa Bryant and Kennedy Lyon were among the main playmakers for Notre Dame as the former almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine boards and the latter shot 78% from the field en route to 16 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Bryant has scored at least a third of the Titans' points.

Meanwhile, South Gallia blew past Wellston, posting a 50-13 victory. That 37 point margin sets a new team best for the Rebels this season.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for South Gallia, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Notre Dame was able to grind out a solid victory over South Gallia when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 44-37. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
