Softball Recap: Sunapee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodsville on Friday, Sunapee came back down to earth. The Lakers came up short against the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors on Monday, falling 12-5. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 18-4.

Sunapee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunapee is set to challenge their familiar foe Moultonborough Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wilton-Lyndeborough will take on rival Hinsdale at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
