Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millry). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Fruitdale Pirates 44-6. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win (which was Millry's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.7 points over those games. As for Fruitdale, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millry will face off against Clarke County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fruitdale, they are taking a road trip to square off against Chickasaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Chieftains' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
